The Al-Quds Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Jihad movement, published pictures of what it said was targeting by its fighters of Israeli soldiers and vehicles west of Gaza City.
The pictures showed a troop carrier being spotted during its incursion into Al-Shuhadaa Street, raising the Israeli flag.
One of the Al-Quds Brigades fighters fired a shell at the vehicle from inside a house, hitting it directly, and pictures showed it catching fire.
The pictures also showed a group of infantry soldiers being spotted and bombarded with a mortar shell.
