Wang Yi met with British Foreign Secretary Cameron on request while attending the Munich Security Conference. As permanent members of the United Nations Security Council, Britain and China should jointly safeguard peace and security and build a better world.

Cameron said that the UK is willing to view UK-China relations from a strategic perspective, develop more constructive bilateral relations with China. The UK will continue to promote cooperation in areas that serve the common interests of both sides, and looks forward to strengthening dialogue with China on renewable energy, economy, trade, education, etc.
