State Duma Speaker Vyacheslav Volodin announced the appearance of a fourth working language on the official website of the Duma. He noted that one of the country’s priorities is relations with the countries of East and North Africa.
Earlier, Wildberries analyzed the orders of Russians for July and August for the new academic year and stated that in Russia, purchases of textbooks in Arabic increased by 376% and Chinese by 177%. The new language is being introduced to ensure the work of the State Duma is accessible not only to Russian citizens.
