“Our official website of the State Duma will be available in Arabic. Arabic will become the fourth foreign working language of the official website of the State Duma,” he said.

According to Volodin, the new language is being introduced to ensure that the work of the State Duma is accessible not only to Russian citizens. He noted that one of the country’s priorities is relations with the countries of East and North Africa.

Earlier, Wildberries analyzed the orders of Russians for July and August for the new academic year and stated that in Russia, purchases of textbooks in Arabic increased by 376% and Chinese by 177%.
