An almost thirty-year-old, recently released from prison, was taken into police custody on Monday after trying to kidnap a girl. The child was waiting in front of her primary school around 8 a.m.
when an “individual joined her, started a discussion with her and grabbed her by the arm” A member of the school's educational team then intervened, causing the suspect to flee. The suspect had previously followed another teenage girl for several hundred meters as she tried to get to her bus stop. But the young girl “realized it” and “was able to be taken by car to school by a neighbor whom she came across by chance”
