Donald Trump avoided TV debates with his internal party rivals. The Republican would now like to discuss things with the incumbent US President Joe Biden.
He and Biden need to debate issues important to Americans, Trump said on Truth Social, his own social network. This is not the first time this year that Trump has asked Biden to debate. During the last election campaign four years ago, there were two TV duels between Trump and Biden. A third discussion was canceled after Trump tested positive for Covid and declined to participate.
