Nathalie's daughter Aurélie, aged 20, lost her life at the hands of her ex-partner. She agreed to talk about this terrible story in this episode of the podcast “In the eyes of Olivier” produced by Europe 1 Studio.
The couple gave birth to two little girls, but as the years passed, the man became more violent. On Saturday May 19, 2007, while the young woman was going to a nightclub with her sister Aline, he violently blocked them on the road. He grabs their phones, throws their car keys and hits Aurélies in the face with a log. The young woman then plunges into the woods to escape while her little sister, aged 16, returns home terrified, to alert their mother. The police then intervened on the scene, three hours after the tragedy to find Aurélied. She died of her injuries a few hours after being taken to hospital. Her ex-companion is arrested the next day
