Adam Kinzinger was one of only 10 elected Republicans to vote for the “impeachment” of Donald Trump. This vote placed him ostracized by his political family and cost him his seat as a deputy in 2022.
He is today the leader of an endangered species: the anti-Trump Republicans, who have held their summit in Washington. “If it’s Trump versus Biden, no hesitation. Trump was the worst tenant in the White House and he proved it. His supporters openly say they want to overthrow democracy,” he says.
