UNESCO report: Ukraine will need more than $1.2 billion to rebuild scientific infrastructure. More than 750 pieces of scientific research equipment used in various studies were damaged in Ukraine.
18 scientific research institutions were forced to relocate, including many institutions studying local biodiversity and ecology. Nearly 30% of Ukrainian scientists can only work remotely due to forced emigration abroad or internal displacement, especially in Kharkiv, Kiev, Sumy, Dnipro, Ode Zaporizhia region.
