The head of the National Council for Television and Radio Broadcasting of Ukraine, Olga Gerasimyuk, said that the authorities are considering taking a number of measures to regulate the work of Telegram in the country. She did not specify what specific measures were being discussed.
Earlier, a representative of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine said that Telegram is a threat to the country’s security. Last November, the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine (NSDC) Alexey Danilov announced a possible blocking of Telegram.
