Two soldiers, including an Iranian member, were killed in air strikes in eastern Syria. The Syrian News Agency (SANA) reported that 7 soldiers and one civilian were killed as a result of what it said was a US air strike targeting Deir ez-Zor.
Tehran announced the killing of a member of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard in the same attack. The US military did not announce any raids on Syria last night or at dawn today. The region is witnessing mutual attacks between American forces and Iranian-backed factions.
