Two Palestinian youths were martyred and others were injured in an assassination operation carried out by Israeli special units. Clashes broke out between Palestinian youths and the occupation forces in the Shuafat refugee camp, north of occupied Jerusalem.
35,000 worshipers performed the evening and Tarawih prayers in the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque on the first day of Ramadan, despite the Israeli restrictions. The occupation police declared a state of alert in the Old City of Jerusalem, including the vicinity of the Mosque.
