Turkey's Supreme Election Authority has published the final lists of candidates for the local general elections to be held on March 31. Istanbul has become the largest city in which candidates will compete for the position of mayor of the major city, as their number reached 49 candidates.
In the Hilal municipality in the city of Uludere, there was only one candidate from the Justice and Development Party for each. There were no independent candidates for mayors of Erzurum, Menisa and Şanlıurfa.
