The European Union will hold a summit meeting on the 1st to discuss financial support for Ukraine. The focus is on whether Hungary, which opposed the deal last time, will agree.

The aim is to reach an agreement to provide financial support of 50 billion euros, or over 7.9 trillion yen, to Ukraine over the next four years. At the summit, there will also be an exchange of opinions regarding military support, including the provision of weapons and artillery shells to Ukraine. It is estimated that only about 500,000 shots will be produced.
