Sudanese activists documented the fighting between the army and the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) Activists also documented the sounds of gunfire and the rising plumes of smoke from the ongoing clashes in the city of El Fasher. Local media reported that smoke rose due to the burning of two planes at the airport, while other footage broadcast by activists showed damage from inside Khartoum International Airport.

For its part, the media account of the Sudanese army published a video on Facebook showing burning of cars it says belong to the RSF.
