The local Majblomme association in Askersund has great hope for this year's vendors. The money that comes in goes to financially vulnerable families with children in the municipality who apply for funds to gild the children's leisure time.
"We haven't noticed it much yet, but we expect a lot more applications now. We are simply counting on that," says Ulla Neander, chairman of Askersundas Majblommeförening. "You should have a good attitude, be nice to people, and if they say no, don't give up," says Eddie Hermansson, in fourth grade.
