[HIGHLIGHTS] This has been the dramatic rescue of a father and his daughter trapped on a balcony of the burned building in Valencia

Two people were waiting to be rescued from the balcony while flames and smoke spread around them. Firefighters achieved the rescue from an elevated basket, after cooling the area with hoses while the adjacent floors burned.

The woman had to break the glass that covered the balcony with a bar used to lower and raise the terrace awning. After being rescued, they have been able to be treated on the street by medical means, without apparently having serious injuries. At least four dead in the huge fire that devastated a housing complex in Valencia.
