Valencia At least four dead in the huge fire that devastated a housing complex in Valencia

firefighters
managed to rescue a father and his daughter who had taken refuge on the balcony of one of the homes of the Valencia building devoured by flames this Thursday, which caused, after much tension and emotions, applause from the people who saw emergency work in the surrounding area.
The two people were waiting to be rescued from the balcony while flames and smoke spread around them.
Firefighters achieved the rescue from an
elevated basket
, after cooling the area with hoses while the adjacent floors burned.
The two people remained on the balcony during this work following the instructions of the firefighting personnel, who finally achieved the rescue.
To do this, the firefighters have been
wetting them with water
until the rescue could be carried out.
The woman had to break the glass that covered the balcony with a bar used to lower and raise the terrace awning.
After being rescued, they have been able to be treated on the street by medical means,
without apparently having serious injuries
