The White House budget request for 2025 included $61.4 billion to resume military supplies to Ukraine. There was no room in the document for new appropriations for the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The budget bill will provide "significant and much-needed investment in America's defense industrial base" and improve U.S. military readiness, the White House said. According to the published document, US military spending in 2025 will be increased to $850 billion. The draft US budget for 2025 is expected to be released later this month.
