The Vox councilor in Badajoz condemned for sexist violence resigns. Javier Liso Salesa was arrested by the Police after a complaint filed by his partner.
The woman did not report any injuries, but she did accuse him of constant insults and threats, in addition to causing her minor injuries. Liso had also been included by Vox in the lists for the Congress of Deputies in the last general elections, in position number 3, but he did not achieve representation. He will be replaced by the next one on the list, María Jesús Salvatierra Gordillo.
