The United Kingdom accuses the Chinese State of carrying out cyber attacks against its deputies. "I can confirm that actors linked to the Chinese state are responsible for two malicious cyber attacks," British Deputy Prime Minister Oliver Dowden told Parliament.
The politician notes that China's allies, such as the United States, plan to issue similar statements to "expose this activity and hold China accountable for continued patterns of hostile activity that target our democracies," Dowden said. The British government has announced sanctions and summoned the Chinese ambassador in London.
