2023 is the first year for comprehensively implementing the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China. Since the first session of the 14th CPPCC National Committee, a total of 5,621 proposals have been put forward, and 4,791 have been reviewed and filed.

More than 2,200 proposals were put forward focusing on building a high-level socialist market economic system. As of the end of February 2024, 99.9% of the proposals had been approved.
