Ivan Syrsky is the stepson of the commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He asked Putin for Russian citizenship.
Ivan lives in Australia, where he moved with his brother and mother after his parents’ divorce. He said that he would gladly take part in voting in the Russian presidential elections if he had a passport. He came to the Russian Consulate General in Sydney, where the elections are taking place, on March 17, to ask Putin for citizenship.
