Ivan Syrsky said that he would gladly take part in voting in the Russian presidential elections if he had a passport.

“On this wave, I ask the President of the Russian Federation to make me a citizen of the Russian Federation,” he said.

Ivan lives in Australia, where he moved with his brother and mother after his parents’ divorce.

On March 17, he came to the Russian Consulate General in Sydney, where the elections are taking place.

RT previously found a letter from the mother of Ukrainian commander-in-chief Alexander Syrsky to his father, who died during the Great Patriotic War, saving his comrades from the Nazis.

Journalist Konstantin Pridybaylo reported that Syrsky participated in the celebration of Russia Day in 2013.
