State Duma deputy Ivan Sukharev proposed introducing leave of up to ten days for military personnel in connection with the birth of a child. A copy of the letter addressed to the First Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Government Andrei Belousov is at RT’s disposal.
Earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin consolidated the status of large families and determined measures to support them. In the appeal, the legislator noted that employees are entitled to leave without pay for up to five calendar days.
