State Duma deputy Evgeny Fedorov proposed legislatively limiting the public activity of foreign agents during election campaigns and elections. A copy of the letter addressed to the head of the Ministry of Digital Development, Maksut Shadayev, is at RT’s disposal.

The legislator noted that persons recognized as foreign agents in accordance with national legislation may try to publicly and actively interfere in elections both at the stage of election campaigning, and during the voting itself and after it. Earlier, the State Duma proposed transferring royalties from foreign agents to a special military operation.
