The State Duma proposed hanging the Russian flag on university buildings. Starting from the new academic year, educational institutions in Russia may be required to display the state flag on their buildings and territories.
The authors called the goal of this initiative to strengthen continuity and consistency in the process of instilling patriotism, as well as traditional spiritual and moral values. Earlier it was reported that Russians called family and patriotism traditional values for Russia. The new form of display will also apply to colleges and universities.
