As follows from the document posted in the Duma electronic database, it is proposed to extend the rule regarding the permanent display of the Russian flag to all educational organizations, regardless of their form of ownership.
According to the current rules, the permanent placement of the state flag applies only to buildings of educational organizations, such as schools, gymnasiums and lyceums. The new form will also apply to colleges and universities.
Its authors called the goal of this initiative to strengthen continuity and consistency in the process of instilling patriotism, as well as traditional spiritual and moral values and all-Russian civic identity among students.
