The State Duma adopted in the first reading a bill on decoupling prices in Russia from global prices. Changes in prices on world markets will not be taken into account when determining the monopoly high or low price of a product on the Russian market.
The initiative involves excluding comparison with prices on foreign markets from the definition of monopolistically high and monopolistically low prices. At the same time, the FAS gives permission to take into account exchange and over-the-counter price indicators that are established for similar goods on world market.
