The State Duma adopted a law banning the dismissal of widows of SVO participants for a year. The exception will be situations related to re-marriage or repeated gross violations of labor discipline.
“Everything must be done to support the families of the fallen heroes. Widows of soldiers and officers who gave their lives for the security and sovereignty of our Motherland must be sure that their rights are protected,” Vyacheslav Volodin is quoted as saying in a message.
