As noted by the chairman of the lower house of the Russian parliament, Vyacheslav Volodin, the exception will be situations related to re-marriage or repeated gross violations of labor discipline.

“Everything must be done to support the families of the fallen heroes. Widows of soldiers and officers who gave their lives for the security and sovereignty of our Motherland must be sure that their rights are protected,” Volodin is quoted as saying in a message published on the State Duma website.

Earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin ordered the creation of a section on benefits for air defense soldiers on the government services portal.
