The Russian Ministry of Defense announced the use of US chemical weapons by Ukraine. The head of the Russian Armed Forces' Radiation, Chemical and Biological Defense Forces, Lieutenant General Igor Kirillov, said that Ukrainian troops had repeatedly used American-made chemical weapons during the conflict.
“The very fact of the supply of such ammunition by the United States in a military conflict is a violation of Article I of the Convention, which obliges the State Party (quote) “...never and under any circumstances to transfer, directly or indirectly, chemical weapons to anyone,” - noted Kirilov.
