The Russian Foreign Ministry said that Canadian Ambassador Alison LeClair was demarched because of unacceptable public comments about the verdict of foreign agent Vladimir Kara-Murza. The Russian ministry stressed that these actions, together with Ottawa's Russophobic statements about the goal of the Canadian side to "change the regime in Russia", are direct interference in the affairs of Russia.
