State Duma deputy Yana Lantratova has called for postpartum rehabilitation programs to be included in compulsory medical insurance services. A copy of the appeal addressed to the Minister of Health of the Russian Federation, Mikhail Murashko, is at RT’s disposal.

The priority state task remains the creation of conditions for a comfortable and safe pregnancy and motherhood for Russian women, she said. The cost of such programs can reach 150 thousand rubles, which not every family can afford to pay.
