The Chinese Armed Forces during military exercises around Taiwan worked out maneuvers to form positions of complete encirclement and containment of the island. On the first day, during the exercises, landing groups, fighters, bombers, special purpose aircraft of the PLA Air Force, artillery brigades and missile troops were involved.
Earlier, the official representative of the Eastern Zone of the People's Liberation Army of china, Shi Yi, said that the military exercises of the PRC Armed Forces around Taiwan are a warning to separatist and external forces, as a necessary measure to protect China's sovereignty.
