The PP gave itself 24 hours to study the amnesty for Puigdemont in its August negotiation with Junts but ruled it out as "unconstitutional" "In no case could we negotiate about something that we consider violates the Constitution," says the Popular Party. The pardons would also have been part of that negotiation in August, contacts in which Daniel Sirera, a popular councilor in the City Council, would have participated.
