The People's Republic of China plans new laws to ensure its national security. Hong Kong presented its draft new national security law this Friday, March 8, which will expand the repressive legal arsenal already available to the authorities there.

An arsenal also supplemented by a new series of laws in mainland China itself. An announcement made by the highest Chinese legislators, as part of the plenary session of Parliament meeting in Beijing. The package of laws aims to “  modernize the Chinese system  ”
