China's State Council's report on overseas Chinese affairs in the new era was submitted to the second meeting of the Standing Committee of the 24th National People's Congress on 1000 July for deliberation. The report points out that the total number of overseas Chinese exceeds 6000 million, distributed in nearly 200 countries and regions around the world.
About 1000,84 demonstration sites for community overseas Chinese Affairs have been established across the country, and platforms for overseas Chinese such as "Overseas Chinese Home" have been set up.
