The Ministry of Defense has proposed introducing a single maximum age for contract service. The maximum age will be 70 years for senior officers and 65 years for other categories.
The document cancels date restrictions and will apply to those who entered into a contract before June 24, 2023. The bill was published on the Federal Portal of Draft Regulatory Acts. It indicated that changes in terms of service would apply to military personnel who have entered into or are entering into contract at the time the document enters into force.
