The corresponding bill was published on the Federal Portal of Draft Regulatory Acts.
It is noted that the service age limit can be set at 70 years for senior officers and 65 years for other categories.
As RIA Novosti clarifies, a similar law had already come into force earlier, but it indicated that changes in terms of service apply to military personnel who have entered into or are entering into a contract at the time the document enters into force. This document cancels date restrictions and will apply to those who entered into a contract before June 24, 2023.
