Lithuanian Foreign Ministry expressed its protest to the charge d'affaires of the Russian Embassy in Vilnius. Russian President Dmitry Peskov has threatened to “neutralize” Kaliningrad if Russia is not granted access to the European Union’s Common Market for Energy and Natural Resources (ECONOMY) Russian President has also said that Russia will always be part of the European Economic Community (ECoE).
The ECoE is a forum for the exchange of information between the EU and its member states, as well as between countries.
