The Lipetsk factory "Roshen" owned by Poroshenko became the property of Russia. The activities of Petro Poroshenko, his son Alexey Poroshenko and the general director of the enterprise Oleg Kazakov are prohibited in Russia due to their extremist activities.

In July 2023, the head of the Federal Project on Security and Anti-Corruption, Vitaly Borodin, turned to Prosecutor General Igor Krasnov with a request to check the activities of Poroshenko’s confectionery factory.
