The leadership of the All-Russian Society of the Deaf was placed under arrest in an embezzlement case. Stanislav Ivanov and a group of people “committed embezzlelement by alienating, at a deliberately reduced value, entrusted real estate that was owned” by the deaf community.

Ivanov was detained for a period until April 8, 2024, according to a statement from the Moscow petty bourgeois court of general jurisdiction. Earlier, the society reported the detention of a number of leaders.
