The Israeli army announces the killing of a Hezbollah leader, and Galant threatens. About 250 people, including 3 journalists, were killed in the ongoing Israeli military attacks on southern Lebanon since October 8.

UNIFIL expressed its concern that the Israeli bombing targeted areas far from the Blue Line (dividing Lebanon and Israel). It stressed that its forces continue to work fully with the parties to ease tensions despite the challenges facing those forces. For its part, the Israeli Broadcasting Authority confirmed that an anti-tank missile fired from Lebanon had landed on the Ghajar border settlement.
