The investigation demanded the arrest in absentia of the ex-head of Lenfilm Shcherbakov. Both defendants are accused of extortion in order to obtain property on an especially large scale.
In February, the Khamovnichesky Court of Moscow sentenced the commercial director of journalist Ksenia Sobchak Kirill Sukhanov, the former editor-in-chief of Tatler magazine Arian Romanovsky and journalist Tamerlan Bigaev in the case of extortion from the head of the Rostec company.
