The independence movement tries to get the EU to pressure the TC to stop the sentence of 25% of Spanish. Separatism does not give up and is trying to modify the EU report on immersion that demands equity between Spanish and Catalan in schools.

The Catalan independentists and their allies in Brussels have presented almost 400 amendments to the document - to which EL MUNDO has had access - to erase all traces of community support for the 25% ruling. The report will be put to a vote on March 19.
