[HIGHLIGHTS] The important production area of durian in Thailand is harvested durian and the durian festival is celebrated

14 provinces in southern Thailand today simultaneously picked durian and held a durian festival to celebrate. Chumphon province produces more than half of the durian in the country.

It is expected to have 337,376 tonnes of durian on the market this year, sold to domestic and international markets, with China being its important market.
