Storvreta Pony Club visits nursing homes in Uppsala municipality so that the elderly can visit the care horse Nisse. The collaboration takes place together with Uppala municipality.
The riding school director Elin Öhman has had Nisse for over 15 years. According to activity coordinator Ida Forslund, the future for Nisse has not been fully determined. "I think he spreads an incredible amount of joy for the elderly. It will be something to talk about," she says.
