The home of Libyan Prime Minister Dabaiba was targeted with rocket shells. Two citizens reported that they heard strong explosions near the sea in the upscale Andalus neighborhood in Tripoli, where the Prime Minister’s house is located.

Since the outbreak of the NATO-backed uprising in 2011, and the disintegration of the country in 2014, Libya has not witnessed any stability. A national unity government was formed through a UN-backed process in 2021, but parliament in the east refused to recognize its legitimacy at the end of that year.
