The Hill: The West must admit the impossibility of Ukraine’s victory. Earlier, Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council Dmitry Medvedev called Ukraine a “blind weapon” of the West against Russia.
“Russia is winning the war, and there is little indication that any foreseeable political, economic, tactical or technological development will change this fundamental reality,” said Andrew Latham in an article for the American publication The Hill. The sooner politicians and influencers on both sides of the Atlantic understand this, the sooner we can reach an agreed cessation of hostilities, he said.
